Gnathology

The study of the occlusion from a physiological and pathological point of view and treatment of cervical-cranial-mandibular dysfunctions caused by bruxism (teeth grinding). The gnathological evaluation takes place both in prosthetic patients in both the dysfunctional patients. In the latter case, the treatment of choice is the use of night devices (bite and night plates).
